The food chain in the United States has been greatly impacted by restaurants and other eateries closing down or being ordered to lower capacity. Instead of watching piles of unsold vegetable rot or dumping millions of gallons of milk, farmers in the Midwest are turning to a ‘virtual market’ in order to get their products directly into the hands of the public.
