“I Didn’t Enjoy The Fact That He Took The Bait” Donna Brazile On Biden Calling Trump A “Clown” & To “Shut Up Man”

Donna Brazile, Former Chairwoman of the DNC & Fox News Contributor spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson about Tuesday’s first presidential debate. Brazile said,

“What is happening in our country today is that we can’t even have civil discourse, discourse over things that we agree with, let alone things we disagree with, a country that is now at this brink of a falling apart simply because we believe that if you wear the blue jersey, you can’t talk to someone with a red jersey. I wear the Saints jersey. But I talked Falcon fans and Cowboys, although when the game is on, I perhaps do a little cursing. But no question Joe Biden was able to, I think, capture not just the attention of the base, but also capture the attention of the middle, the independents. That’s who Joe Biden must also rally if he’s going to win. I enjoyed the fact that the vice president was able to look straight at us. What I didn’t enjoy. Let me tell you two things I didn’t enjoy. I didn’t enjoy the fact that he took the bait when when the president interrupted him and use words like clown and shut up man. No, I don’t like that. That’s not my demeanor. And although from time to time, I tell people to go to hell and do some other things. But this is the highest office in the land. You’re not political pundits like me or a political contributor or a Fox News analyst like you and a host. You are the future of our country and our kids are watching. So, yeah, I was a little this dis-comfortable.”
