Fox News Contributor & CEO of The Dispatch Steve Hayes spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the first presidential debate being a disappointing night for America. Hayes was surprised to hear Joe Biden say to the President "shut up, man" but feels Biden started off the night respectful of President Trump and highlighting policy differences before the back and forth between the candidates devolved. When asked about President Trump being unable to directly call out far right extremists directly, Hayes says the President is giving extremists such as the Proud Boys strength by saying stand back and stand by. Hayes thinks because President Trump grew up a Manhattan liberal, he has a belief that some of the conservative base are sympathetic to far right groups.
