Congressman Brian Mast (R-FL ) spoke with Brian Kilmeade about the 10 year anniversary of his Alive Day – the day when he lost both his legs and his index finger from a bomb explosion in Afghanistan. Mast, who was serving as a bomb disposal expert in Afghanistan, explained how that life-changing moment made him a stronger person and explained how war makes you better yet kills parts of you. On troop withdrawal in Afghanistan, Mast believes we do not need the same level of troops in 2020 as we had in 2001 as long as we keep a military presence and maintain a working relationship with the Afghan government.
