Dr. Manny Alvarez: “Doctors Are The First Ones That Are Getting Online To Get The Vaccine”
Dr. Manny Alvarez, Fox News Contributor and Senior Health Analyst spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson about the several Coronavirus vaccine trails that are underway. Dr. Alvarez when asked if he would participate in a COVID-19 Vaccine trail said,
“Oh, absolutely. And the president of our network hospital in the north. Dr. Sal Chuck was the first one.So doctors are the first ones that are getting online to get the vaccine. So, you know, it is ridiculous to think that we would, you know, with the knowledge that we have about the science, the protocols, you name it, that, you know, we would be shying away from getting it. So the first shot that we gave in a hospital was to an M.D. who was the northern president, regional president of our hospital. And he got it. And, you know, We talked about it and basically it was OK. And, you know, let’s let’s just hope that we can get the plesiabo when we got the vaccine. But everybody’s very excited and very willing to realize that, you know, all the technology of vaccine development is, you know, this is not science from Mars. This is straightforward. The response is going to be looking at whether enough antibodies are going to be manufactured by the different age categories of people and whether it’s going to require a yearly shot, whether it’s going to require a booster shot.”
