Clarence Henderson: “We’re Doing More To Tear Down America Than Build It Up”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, civil rights pioneer Clarence Henderson denounced the Black Lives Matter movement and explained what it mean to him to have Barack Obama as the first African-America President.
“They say that they are a Marxist organization and that means that they mean to tear down the fabric of America. When will they come on my street or your street saying, ‘Listen, we demand that you give up what you have,’ which you earned so hard to get. So there is an order that we are a nation of laws. People have to be self disciplined themselves in order for this country to continue to be what it had been thus far. We’re doing more to tear down America at this point that we are building it up.”
“Obama had a great opportunity and there were people just thought that simply because he was Black, it would resolve all of the issues that we were concerned about at that particular point in time, but it didn’t. What we had to do is that, it is not the government it is we the people that are going to make the decision. That’s the way this country started out when Thomas Jefferson said America is an idea in the eyes of man, he simply meant that by going to the polls and voting, that’s how we decide what kind of America we’re going to live in.”
