Martha MacCallum Previews ‘Unconventional Convention” Coverage As Election Season Kicks Off
Martha MacCallum, Host of The Story 7pm ET on the Fox News Channel spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson as she previewed this year’s Convention coverage. Saying,
“I never in a million years would have imagined at the beginning of 2020 that we wouldn’t have been completely immersed throughout this entire spring and summer, traveling the country, talking to voters, doing town halls, all the things that we were ramped up and ready to do. But in this business and in life in general, we all know that things can change. And this has been one of the strangest years I think any of us have ever experienced. So we’re taking it day by day. And Sunday night, we’re gonna kind of spend an hour with all of our viewers, kind of orienting everybody towards what’s to come. And we do have a Democratic National Convention coming up. It’s going to be mostly virtual. But Joe Biden will give his speech on Thursday night. And I think a lot of Americans are going to begin to focus, as they always do during the conventions. You know, there’s still a bit in summer mode, but they start to tune in and watch what these two individuals, President Trump and Joe Biden, are saying, because America has a very big decision to make in a very tumultuous time.”
