Admiral James Stavridis (Ret), former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO, member of the Carlyle Group, and author of “Sailing True North: Ten Admirals and the Voyage of Character” spoke with Brian Kilmeade about why he thinks it is a very smart move by the Trump administration to send HHS Secretary Azar, a cabinet level official, to Taiwan. The admiral also weighed in on China and Iran’s relationship becoming closer, rumors of China helping Saudi Arabia build a secret nuclear site and Russia putting the S-400 Air Defense System In Libya. Admiral Stavridis also discussed the devastating explosion in Beirut. Stavridis believes it was a terrible accident but looking at the bigger picture, this could continue to shatter the Lebanese economy which could further degrade Lebanon’s ability to deal with Hezbollah, putting Israel and other US allies at risk.
