Brit Hume, Senior political analyst for the Fox News Channel spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson about Chris Wallace’s exclusive interview with President Donald Trump. Hume reacted to the one on one interview saying,

“I was somewhat surprised that it happen because the president doesn’t usually like to sit for a searching interview. And you had to know that if you sit down with Chris. That’s what he was going to get. And that is what he got. And I thought, the president, I agree with you. He deserves credit for doing it. But, you know, if you’re going to do something like that, you’ve got to be at the top of your game. Chris is at the top of his game. The president was not at the top of his.”

Hume also reacted to calls for Trump’s opponent, Joe Biden to sit for the same style interview with Wallace. Saying,

“Well, I think it would be nice if he would do that. But if I were his press secretary or political advisor, I wouldn’t let him get near Chris Wallace.”
