Deroy Murdock: Nancy Pelosi On Toppling Of Statues: “Her Whole Attitude Is Just Shrug Your Shoulders & Kind Of Laugh It Off”
Deroy Murdock, Fox News Contributor, contributing editor with National Review Online, and a senior fellow with the London Center for Policy Research. Spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson about Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s response to violent protesters toppling historical statues. Murdock said,
“These people are just a completely hyped up mob. And what they need is adult supervision. They need somebody like Nancy Pelosi, who’s on the left, who they probably respect, or at least they may know her name. To say, look, this is not how we do things in this country. This is not Venezuela. This is not a mobocracy. You need to cool it instead, her whole attitude is just shrug your shoulders and kind of laugh it off. And the worst thing about this is it isn’t just her. There’ve been other Democrats who throughout this whole thing when they should step in and and, you know, show some leadership and show some some responsibility have either been very casual butter, actually egg people on or in some cases actually literally fuel the fires.”
