On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, RNC Spokesperson Liz Harrington about where the RNC Convention could end up now that North Carolina is no longer being considered by President Trump and the RNC.
"Everyone has a wish list out there for where we should go. We've got a lot offers and I can't say where we'll end up. It's unfortunate that the main headlining event is not going to be able to take place in Charlotte because the Democrat governor has just refused to give any leeway and allow us to occupy the Spectrum Center, which we're paying millions and millions of dollars for. So unfortunately, he's slow walked this. And it's really unfortunate for the residents of North Carolina. Take our convention out of it, we're talking about who should be moving as quickly as he can to safely reopen up his economy and let his people innovate and go back to work. And he's really slow walking all of that. So unfortunately, we're not going to be able to hold the main event there. And we're looking at our options. We've got a lot of offers from different cities and states and hopefully we find a new destination soon."
