South Carolina Senator Tim Scott joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss the continuing protests, some of them violent, around the country as a result of the death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody.

“The violent protestors are nothing more than a selfish group of individuals,” Scott said. “It’s hard to have a fair conversation when you have violent protestors distracting, selfishly denying a conversation around justice for Mr. Floyd,” he added.

“It is important for all of us to have this dialogue but we will not have it if other people’s lives are in jeopardy. That kind of just flies in the face of the death of Mr. Floyd. To kill more people, to lose more lives, to see businesses shuttered. Unacceptable,” Sen. Scott continued.
