Rep. Jim Jordan: I Hope Attorney General Barr “Goes After” James Comey

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) explains why he think Attorney General William Barr should “go after James Comey” who “deserves a real hard look” after documents from the Russia investigation were disclosed this week.

“I’ll leave that up to Bill Barr and John Durham what charges they may or may not indict people with or for. If it goes to trial, we’ll leave it up to the judge and jury what may happen. You start with January 4th, 2017, Jim Comey tells Peter Strzok, ‘Tell those agents who are getting ready to say we shouldn’t pursue Michael Flynn, he did nothing wrong. Well, tell them to stop. We’re gonna go after Flynn.’ The next day Jim Comey in the White House with then-still President Obama and President Obama talks to Jim Comey about Michael Flynn. January 6, that same group is in a meeting with President Obama travels to New York to meet with President-Elect Trump, Comey, Brennan, Clapper. Comey sticks around after that meeting and briefed President Trump on the dossier. The dossier that he already knows is false, that he already knows his paid for by the Clinton campaign and that he knows is Russian disinformation. And then twelve days later, Jim Comey sneaks two guys, sneaks them into the White House to trap General Flynn and catch him and get him to lie. That’s how sick this stuff is, in those four dates in January, within a three week timeframe, during the transition from the Obama administration to the Trump administration, tell us everything about what’s going on here. And I hope Bill Barr, who’s doing a great job, I hope he goes after Jim Comey, because that’s a guy who deserves a real hard look.”
