Rep. Debbie Lesko: We Were Tested So We Didn’t Need Masks At The Arizona Plant
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) described what it was like to fly on Air Force One with President Trump as he made his way to Arizona, and addressed the controversy over whether she and others, including the President, needed to wear a mask while touring a plant.
“There’s this whole controversy over the President wearing masks and me wearing masks and all this stuff. The President gets tested. Everybody that sees the President and the Vice President get tested. So all of us knew before we got on Air Force One that we were negative. We did not have coronavirus. That’s why we didn’t have to wear a mask, we didn’t have to social distance, because every single person that got in contact with the President was already tested. This whole obsession with the media over ‘is he wearing a mask, is he not wearing a mask?’ I had a local media thing and they were like, ‘you weren’t practicing social distancing with the President.’ I’m like, ‘Because I got tested.’ You know we don’t need social distancing if we’re all negative. The insanity over the mask thing is just nuts.”
