On FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) responded to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) dropping out of the Presidential race and whether his supporters will switch over to Joe Biden.

"Although Bernie himself is gone, his footprints certainly have not gone. You look at the Democratic Party now, the Green New Deal, Medicare-For-All, open borders, all of those are platforms that were pushed by Bernie Sanders. And so with him exiting, those things remain part of the Democratic platform. So he was successful in drawing the Democratic party further and further to the left. I think your so-called moderate Democrats or an endangered species now and that's thanks to Bernie Sanders. He'd succeeded and drawing the party radically to the left and I believe frankly the American people would reject that."
