Senator Mike Braun (R-IN), who has co-sponsored Senator Hawley’s legislation which would force Speaker Pelosi to release the articles of impeachment within 25 days of the original vote, spoke with Brian regarding the latest impeachment news.
Brian asked Senator Braun about his thoughts on Senators Mike Lee and Rand Paul’s frustrations over the Senate briefing on the military strike that killed Qassem Soleimani. Braun said it is a classic case where everyone heard the same thing and came out with differing opinions. Braun does not think Senators Paul and Lee were against the particulars of what happened when taking out Soleimani but had issues with a question asked by a democrat on the imminent event that led to the decision to take out Soleimani.
