Fox News Sunday Anchor Chris Wallace joined the Brian Kilmeade Show today to discuss President Donald Trump’s 45-minute phone call into Fox and Friends this morning, in which the President defended his attorney Rudy Giuliani after Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland claimed he never wanted to work with him on matters of Ukraine during his impeachment inquiry testimony yesterday. Wallace also addressed President Trump calling him “nasty & obnoxious” in a tweet earlier this week after he interviewed House Minority Whip Steve Scalise on Fox News Sunday. Wallace said:
“If I thought I’d been unfair I’d be very upset about it but I think I was very fair to Steve Scalise. Incidentally, his office was fine with the interview I had done… I guess I’m old fashioned enough. On some level it does get to you when the President of the United States, whoever it is, sits there and attacks you.”
