Congressman Mike Johnson (R-LA), Chairman of the Republican Study Committee, spoke with Brian Kilmeade about his visit to the White House to meet with President Trump. Johnson said the President covered a lot of topics and was very animated about the U.S military raid that killed ISIS leader al-Baghdadi. On impeachment, Johnson, who is a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said if Democrats want to pull the trigger on impeachment, Republicans are united and ready to fight. When asked about 2020, Congressman Johnson said it was “nonsense” that Republicans are worried about losing the White House and Senate.
Plus, Johnson also spoke about the RSC’s proposed 11 trillion dollar tax cut and the RSC’s Health Care Plan that would protect vulnerable Americans – including those with pre-existing conditions, chronic illness, and serious health issues – while reducing premiums, deductibles, and overall health care costs.
