Former Secretary of Defense for President Trump, General James Mattis, spoke with Brian Kilmeade about his new book "Call Sign Chaos: Learning To Lead". General Mattis discussed the life lesson he never forgot from his time in jail, why he choose to join the Marines, learning to delegate responsibility to lower ranking personal in the military, why he was not in agreement with the Obama Administration's decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and Iraq, pushing back against Senator Rand Paul saying he did not have a military solution to Afghanistan and Syria and the need to verify then trust before entering any peace agreement with the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Plus, General Mattis said he had no doubt Patrick Shanahan could have successfully taken over for him as Secretary of Defense.
