Anna Palmer, Senior Washington Correspondent for POLITICO, joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss her new book “The Hill to Die On: The Battle for Congress and the Future of Trump’s America”. Palmer details the differences in the relationships between President Trump and former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi considering retirement if Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election, former Congressman Joe Crowley having dirt on his primary opponent Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez but deciding against using that info because he was confident he was going to win.
Palmer also explains how Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s approval ratings skyrocketed with conservatives after his work to help confirm Bret Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and what President Trump and the Republican’s game plan will be if Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg retires.
