Today is the 10 year anniversary of what could be described as the most incredible emergency landing in aviation history known as the "Miracle on the Hudson." One of the passengers of US Airways Flight 1549, Chris Rini, joins the podcast to tell his story.

More than 30-thousand teachers in the Los Angeles Unified School district went on strike Monday affecting 900 schools and a half a million students. They are demanding smaller class sizes, more support staff at schools and better pay while the district warns against overspending. Los Angeles special education teacher, Justine Soifer and Director of Government Consulting and Fiscal Policy Research at Moody's Analytics Dan White give us their view on the teacher's strike.
