Admiral James Stavridis (Ret), former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO and Dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, spoke with Brian Kilmeade about President Trump’s visit to Brussels to meet with NATO nations. Admiral Stavridis agrees with President Trump that NATO nations need to spend more on defense but believes the President needs to be appreciative of the contributions NATO members have made, especially in the lives lost supporting America in the war on terror. Stavridis also weighed in on the turmoil in England as they are still figuring out Brexit and said there is a feeling in Britain that they want to have another referendum and remain in the EU, something Stavridis believes would be beneficial to America. On Secretary Mike Pompeo’s handling of North Korea, Admiral Stavridis gives the Secretary “very high marks” calling him a “good leader, leading from the inside out,” and went on to say, “We are very lucky to have a Secretary of State like Mike Pompeo!”
