Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) spoke with Brian Kilmeade about Dr. Ronny Jackson withdrawing as President Trump's nominee to run the Veterans Affairs Department and the democrats continued opposition to President Trump's other nominees, including Mike Pompeo for Secretary of State and Gina Haspel for CIA Director. Senator Cassidy said, "The democrats hate Donald Trump and whatever it takes to defeat his agenda." On the democrat's opposition to Gina Haspel as CIA Director, Senator Cassidy believes, "Democrats don't want to see republicans nominating women to such high positions because that defeats their narrative that republicans don't like women."
