Senator Lindsey Graham joined Brian Kilmeade this morning on The Brian Kilmeade Show and expressed worry we do not have the right generals with the right mindset to deal with Syria. Graham also worries about any military action against Syria not being decisive enough to make Assad pay a big price which in turn will make America pay a big price.

Senator Graham also discussed James Comey's upcoming book tour and said the common theme when it comes to Comey is he always wants to be the hero who has been vindictive and believes if Comey really felt President Trump is as bad as he claims then "why didn't he quit?"

SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM ON BEING WORRIED WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE THE RIGHT GENERALS WITH THE RIGHT MINDSET; THEY WORRY ABOUT IRAQ TO THE POINT THAT IT ALMOST PARALYZES US

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: I'm worried whether or not we have the right generals with the right mindset. I like Gen. Dunford but Sen. McCain and I have had a lot of frustration with the military over the last 4 or 5 years when it comes to Syria. Gen. Dempsey made it look like that if he did anything against Assad that you're gonna create WWIII. We had Assad on the ropes, we backed off, Iran and Russia came to his aide and he was very vulnerable. We've got a generation of military leaders who, I think, worry about Iraq to the point that it almost paralyzes us. So here's the problem. If the president is given military options that do not make Assad pay a big price, we're gonna pay a big price.
