HHS Secretary Alex Azar On The Trump Administration Combating Mental Illness After The Parkland, Florida Shootings
Health & Human Services Secretary Alex Azar spoke with Brian Kilmeade about the Trump administration focusing on combating mental illness in the wake of the school shootings in Parkland, Florida. Secretary Azar said that one of the key issues is to ensure that people who suffer mental illness are not stigmatized because most are nonviolent and we must make sure people get the proper treatment. Azar also discussed the Trump Administration’s proposal to give relief to Americans facing high premiums under Obamacare, the benefits of having a work requirement for people receiving Medicaid and why it is not too late for people to get the flu shot.
