USCIS Director Francis Cissna: Democrats Can’t Rely On The Window To Fix DACA Being Open Forever
Director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Francis Cissna spoke to Brian Kilmeade about President Trump’s support for The Secure and Succeed Act, sponsored by Senators Grassley, Cornyn, Tillis, Perdue, Lankford, Cotton and Ernst. Cissna explained that this bill will limit the Diversity Lottery to the nuclear family and anyone else can petition on their own for legal entry. One major immigration loophole the President wants changed is the inability to deport a legal resident who is part of a gang such as MS-13. Cissna said that the only way to deport a legal resident who is part of a gang is if they commit a murder. Cissna also warned democrats that they should not rely on the window to deal with DACA being open forever and went on to say the legislators need to get something done as soon as possible.
