"This is a Chuck Schumer deal. This is a deal where we have a few democrats in the Senate dictate what this President and this Congress does. I think it's time Mitch McConnell goes to 51 votes in the Senate, the heck with allowing Chuck Schumer and a few of his colleagues to set the agenda for the rest of the Trump agenda, it's just not appropriate."
---Congressman Mark Meadows on the need for the senate to use the nuclear option of 51 votes in the senate to stop Senator Schumer from setting the congressional agenda
Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC), joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss the latest on a potential government shutdown. Meadows is bothered by a potential Senate deal that would increase spending caps allowing the size of government to grow by 13% and add to the deficit. Meadows says the senate budget deal is a Senator Schumer deal and "it's time Mitch McConnell goes to 51 votes in the Senate" and "the heck with allowing Chuck Schumer and a few of his colleagues to set the agenda." On the latest batch of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page texts, Meadows said this is the first written confirmation that members of the Obama administration were involved in the Russian dossier on President Trump.
