Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey: President Trump Should Speak With Robert Mueller Rather Than Face A Grand Jury Subpoena
Judge Michael Mukasey, Attorney General of the United States under President George W. Bush, explained to Brian Kilmeade why it would be beneficial for President Trump to speak with Robert Mueller with his lawyers present rather than in front of a grand jury without his lawyers. When asked about House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes urging the release of the FISA Memo detailing surveillance abuses under the Obama administration, Mukasey said since the DOJ doesn’t know what is in the memo they need to review it to make sure classified information isn’t in there that would damage national security.
