Congressman Jim Jordan: Change The Stupid 60 Vote Rule In The Senate

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), member of the House Judiciary Committee & House Oversight & Government Reform Committee, tells Brian Kilmeade that democrats are pushing the government shutdown because they support amnesty over paying the military. Jordan says President Trump was elected on border security promises and there is no way the Freedom Caucus will go along with the Durbin-Graham spending bill. When asked about President Trump’s call for implanting the nuclear option in the Senate, Jordan agreed saying there is nothing in the constitution that says there needs to be 60 votes in the senate to end a filibuster and added if Senator McConnell can waive the 60 vote threshold for appointing Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court then he should waive it for funding the government.
