Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick spoke with Brian Kilmeade about the ongoing relief efforts in Houston and the surrounding areas in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Patrick said between 400,000 & 700,000 people have been displaced by Harvey and now the focus in on the helping people connect with FEMA to speed up the recovery process. Patrick did not want to get into the politics of President Trump making a deal with democrats, instead focusing on how Texas has a great partner in the President who he feels is doing a terrific job giving the state whatever it needs going forward. Patrick also emphasized how special thanks need to be given to the first responders and volunteers who have helped during and after Hurricane Harvey hit.
