Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss "Workforce" Week. Secretary Acosta said that Americans have a skills gap. They don't have the skill set that American companies want or need. Mr. Acosta went on to say that one solution can be to combine the learning of new skills with a two or four-year degree. Not only will this provide a better education for the American workforce but also will help take away the stigma or poor perception that goes along with a skill based job.
