Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Seema Verma: The Status Quo For Medicaid Is Unsustainable
Seema Verma,Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and one of the key architects of the GOP’s American Healthcare Act, spoke with Brian Kilmeade about the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) scoring of the Republican’s Obamacare healthcare replacement bill. Verma explains that people’s worries about the CBO estimate that 23 million people will lose insurance under the new healthcare plan need to remember the CBO was off by 100% when they ran the numbers on Obamacare. This CBO score on the House bill is just an estimate as it waits to go through the Senate.
