Bourbon Curious: A Simple Tasting Guide for the Savvy Drinker
Bourbon Punch created by Fred Minnick
3 parts Maker's Mark® Cask Strength
3 parts black tea, freshly brewed
3 cups of ice
3 parts spiced rum
1 part Mathilde Orange Liqueur au Cognac
1 ½ parts orange juice
1 part lemon juice
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 teaspoons cinnamon
One orange, thinly sliced
While you're steeping the tea, mix the ice, rum, whiskey, orange liqueur and orange juice in a large punch bowl. Then, pour in the hot tea along with lemon juice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir until all the ice is dissolved. Add sliced oranges and serve.
