Sean Spicer: Donald Trump Doesn’t Walk Back Anything

“I don’t think Donald Trump walks back anything. I think he might further expand on it but I don’t think he is a guy that sort of walks back.”

—Sean Spicer on if he expects Donald Trump to walk back his comments on not accepting the election results

Sean Spicer, the RNC’s Chief Strategist & Communications Director, called into Kilmeade & Friends to discuss Donald Trump’s debate performance last night and address Trump saying he may not accept the election results. Plus, Spicer explains why Republicans aren’t as unified as the democrat party around their candidate, what the game plan is heading down the final stretch before Election Day and if he agrees with Senator Rubio that republicans should avoid using WikiLeaks as a political tool.

Sean Spicer on if Donald Trump will walk back his statement about not accepting the election results

(Kilmeade) Do you think he might walk back his statement today on the stump about accepting the election results?

(SPICER) I don’t think Donald Trump walks back anything. I think he might further expand on it but I don’t think he is a guy that sort of walks back.

(Kilmeade) Would you like him to?

(SPICER) I think to the extent that he could clarify because here is why, I think and you played the clip from Bob Schieffer earlier on, the problem is the media will focus entirely on that if he doesn’t sort of explain if further and say this is what I meant because they are not wanting to focus on the issues because they don’t want this to be a discussion of actual issues.
