A song from a mother to her children is striking an emotional chord with listeners online.

FOX's Krystin Goodwin has the details:

A Christian singer's song to her children touching the hearts of many people online. Nichole Nordeman wrote 'Slow Down.'

The lyrics describe the bitter sweet reality of how kids grow up fast. Her kids are seven and 12. She says she wrote the lyrics for her son's fifth grade graduation.

Nichole shared the tear jerking music video for the track on Facebook. It quickly went viral. The lyrics tug at the heart:

(Nordeman) "I am your biggest fan, I hope you know I am, but do you think you can somehow slow down?"

Thousands of parents online touched, commenting on the video sharing their own memories raising kids.
