Sean Spicer: “Once You Get To 1,237 It’s Over, Until That Time You’re the Front Runner”
Chief Strategist & Communications Director for the Republican National Committee Sean Spicer joined Kilmeade and Friends today to talk about the current state of the presidential election. Spicer broke down the delegate count, addressed why Cruz and Kasich are holding out hope, and what’s going to happen in Cleveland.
Spicer also shared that for the first time in 40+ years all 50 states are taking part in the presidential election, saying “We’re seeing increased turn out, increased enthusiasm, people want to be a part of the process.” Spicer finished by addressing Donald Trump’s significant lead in delegate count: “Once you get to 1,237 it’s over, until that time, you’re the front runner… It has to go to June, the question is does it go to July. June 7th is the last day of voting. It’s going there.”
