Former Astronaut Buzz Aldrin On Going to the Moon and Beyond
Legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin, one of the first two men to walk on the moon as part of the historic Apollo 11 mission, stopped by Kilmeade & Friends to talk about making history along with Neil Armstrong on July 20, 1969. Buzz also discussed the importance of resuming our space program, the role private industry plays in space exploration, why he feels it’s important for us to go to Mars and how the feature film “The Martian” was a good way to get the public interested in sending astronauts to the Red Planet.
