Rand Paul On New Fox Debate Rules: “I Will Not Participate In Any Kind Of Second Tier Debate”
“I will not participate in any kind of second tier debate. We have a first tier campaign….I am not going to let any network or anybody we are not a first tier campaign. If you tell a campaign, with three weeks to go they are second tier, you destroy the campaign. This isn’t the job of the media to pick who wins, the voters ought to get a chance. This is going to lay it up in the lap for Donald Trump if you don’t want to allow any competition.”
—Rand Paul commenting on the new Fox Business debate rules that may knock him off the main debate stage
2016 GOP Presidential candidate, Senator Rand Paul (R KY) is not happy with Fox Business’s new debate rules that may take him off the main debate stage telling Kilmeade & Friends, “I will not participate in any kind of second tier debate.” and he will not let any network tell him he is not a first tier candidate because he feels it gives the media too much power determining who is worthy of debating instead of letting the American people decide.
