"When I introduced an amendment that would have had more scrutiny for students and refugees coming here, Lindsey Graham, like Marco Rubio, opposed this. So really, if we are talking about endangering the country, really I think Lindsey Graham who is endangering the country just about as much or more than anybody else."

---Sen Rand Paul responding to comments from Sen. Lindsey Graham saying he and Sen Ted Cruz have done more to help ISIS than anybody else.

2016 GOP presidential candidate, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), called into Kilmeade & Friends to talk about the latest on the San Bernardino shootings, the NY Daily News ripping him and other republicans for offering their thoughts and prayers to the victims and his thoughts on Lindsey Graham saying he has done more to help ISIS than anyone else.

Listen here:

Rand Paul on the NY Daily News ripping him and other republicans for offering their thoughts and prayers to the victims of the San Bernardino shootings.

"I can't believe people are mocking those of us who believe in prayer, those of us who believe in religion. One of the victims, while they were in there being hunted down by these killers was tweeting out 'pray for me and my family. If the New York papers are going to ridicule religion and ridicule prayer, I think the onus is on them and really I think they are going to receive a great deal of push back on that and deservedly so."

Does the NY Daily News headline calling you out bother you on a personal level?

"Yeah and I think it just shows what reactionaries they are because they have a political agenda and their political agenda is to limit the rights of individuals in this country and limit basic bill of rights freedoms that were given to us preceding government but were guaranteed to us by the Bill of Rights and they aren't even waiting for the facts to come in."

Sen. Lindsey Graham saying he and Sen. Ted Cruz have done more to help ISIS than anybody else.

"Lindsey Graham has always been somebody who has not had a lot of concern for liberty or the Bill of Rights. He is also part of the contingent who has been arming ISIS and the allies of ISIS in the Syrian civil war. So I would argue that Lindsey Graham's foreign policy is similar to Hillary Clinton's. It's in favor of regime change in Libya, regime change in Syria and Iraq but really that's made us less safe. I think we can have a good intelligence discussion about this because I think Lindsey Graham has done more to endanger us in this country. When I introduced an amendment that would have had more scrutiny for students and refugees coming here, Lindsey Graham, like Marco Rubio, opposed this. So really, if we are talking about endangering the country, really I think Lindsey Graham who is endangering the country just about as much or more than anybody else."
