General Ann Dunwoody (Ret), author of A Higher Standard Leadership Strategies from America’s First Female Four-Star General, joined Kilmeade & Friends to discuss her historic rise as the first four star female general in U.S history.
Watch here:
Dunwoody told Brian when she first started her military career, it was mostly an all-white male institution, unlike today where there is a more diverse makeup. Women now making up between 15-20% and minorities making up over 30% of our military. Dunwoody was taken aback by the overwhelming letters of support she received from women, both in the military and civilians, when she was nominated for the rank of four star general.
On military cuts, Dunwoody finds it upsetting because we are living through some of the most dangerous times of her life and terrorists are trying to threaten our way of life.
