Former Ambassador: The U.S. is Losing Respect and Needs to Maintain a Leadership Role

Former US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Robert Jordan weighed in on the passing of Saudi leader King Abdullah and said that his passing might actually improve relations because the King was upset with Obama and his Mid-East foreign policies. Over time Saudi Arabia has actually been a very strong ally and has actually taken the fight to Al-Qaeda and pretty much kicked them out of Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Jordan also weighed in on ISIS and felt that this is the time to accept the offer from Saudi Arabia to fight a ground war and UAE to pay for the war because we need to have Arab troops on the ground taking the fight to them.
