Hillary’s Biggest 2016 Hurdle—She’s Too Familiar
NY Times Magazine’s Chief National Correspondent, Mark Leibovich, joined Brian to discuss his latest book, “Citizens of the Green Rom: Profiles in Courage and the Self-Delusion.” Mark told Brian his book is a collection of his previously published profiles of both democrats and republicans over the last 12 years. Among the highlights, Chris Christie comes off as a normal, fun guy who believes what he says. John McCain is the father of straight talk among modern politicians, and Hillary Clinton’s biggest hurdle to climb (if she runs in 2016) is being too familiar to the American public. On covering the 2012 presidential election, Mark told Brian he believes most voters will NOT look back to that election with nostalgia.
