KILMEADE KONDENSED: 10/28/14

Listen here for the Kilmeade Montage of the day

HOUR 1
Founder and former Blackwater CEO and author of “Civilian Warriors” ERIK PRINCE dropped by the studio to talk about the problems we face in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Erik gave us a look into how and why he started Blackwater and how he helped our government in Afghanistan because of the contacts he had there because of a peace initiative he was a part of before the attacks on 9/11.  Erik says that the United States did a great job building a defensive force in Afghanistan but he fears that the Taliban will be able to take over and run much of the country once all of our soldiers leave.  Erik explained that the Taliban has already started to take over towns on the outskirts of the country and are just waiting to take over and terrorize the people.

Erik and Brian talked how the President of Iraq actually lost the last election but with Iranian money was able to keep control and fire all rival tribal politicians and army leaders.  With no boots on the ground Erik doesn’t think that there is any way to defeat ISIS.  He also gave us a look at how ISIS operates as an army that is being led by former Iraqi generals we trained that were fired and then when threatened go back into al Qaeda mode and hide within the populace once they feel threatened.

Dallas Mavericks owner and co-host of “Shark Tank” MARK CUBAN talked about politics, the economy and how America is still the best country to live in and prosper.

Author of “World War I: A Concise History” JOE MICALLEF talked about how the problems we have in the Middle East all began with the end of the World War I.  Joe explained that once the Ottoman Empire entered the war and joined the losing side, Britain and France just separated the empire and made borders without much thought on separating the different tribes into their own countries.

HOUR 2
Fox News national security correspondent JENNIFER GRIFFIN checked in and told Brian that the policy the joint chiefs told Secretary Hagel they wanted was to keep soldiers that went to the Ebola hot zone would be held in quarantine for 21 days just to be on the safe side.  The problem is that this is the exact opposite of what the administration is saying about the Ebola virus and how to treat it.

Jennifer also talked about the reports that President Obama was shocked when told that if nothing is done quickly, Iraq will fall to ISIS.  Jennifer also said that General Odierno, and others who served in Iraq, were never consulted before the administration decided on how to deal with ISIS.  Jennifer also agreed with Gen. Keane’s (Ret) assessment that the administration and Pentagon has the most strained relationship ever.

HOUR 3
Steiner Sports CEO BRANDON STEINER dropped by and talked sports including the Monday Night Football game with the Cowboys losing to Washington.  Brandon also talked about the World Series and how without any stars it unfortunately turns boring.  Brandon also talked about the big hit that football has taken with its image and how you barely see any ads for players.  He is actually very bullish on the NBA and NHL.  Brandon believes that LeBron going back to Cleveland is huge and the best move that he could make.

The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson host, GRETCHEN CARLSON, talked Ebola ISIS and the economy.  Brian also wondered if the President will try to get his digital team to combat ISIS trying to convert people through social media.  Gretchen also said that she really liked how Governors Christie and Cuomo got together to take the lead on Ebola because the President isn’t doing anything.  Gretchen also worried that Christie has to be careful so he doesn’t seem like he is being a bully.
