KK: @GeorgeWillF on coming to Fox & Alec Baldwin + Gen. McInerney responds to Goldberg’s comments [audio]
KILMEADE KONDENSED ~ 3/25/14
HOUR 1
Gen. Tom McInerney, Fox News Military Analyst, weighed in on the Obama Administration killing the Hellfire & Tomahawk missile programs. Brian then played Bernard Goldberg’s critical comments on McInerney’s missing plane theory from The O’Reilly Factor last night and McInerney reacted, “I don’t think Bernard Goldberg knows anything about aviation or flying or radical Islam. But I don’t want to get into a name calling contest, I just want to find out what the truth is.”
GEORGE WILL, syndicated columnist & author of A Nice Little Place on the North Side: Wrigley Field at One Hundred, sat down with Brian and in addition to talking about his new book, weighed in on what it was like to be interviewed by Alec Baldwin. When asked about Baldwin’s recent rant against the media, Will said, “He lacks a governor, to put it mildly.” Brian then asked George what it was like being at Fox and he compared it to getting on a Southwest airline plane, “It is like getting on Southwest airlines—the planes are clean, everybody is happy, everything is on time and they have an insurgence attitude, even though Southwest now rules the world. It is the same with Fox.”
HOUR 2
Famed GOP strategist, ED ROLLINS, joined Brian and offered up his expert take on the GOP’s chances of taking back the Senate in 2014!
HOUR 3
Concerned Vets for America’s PETE HEGSETH talked about his piece in the WSJ, Military Pension Reform 2.0: The COLA changes are history, but the entire retirement system is too costly—and inequitable. Hegseth explained why it’s important to reassert the case of smart DoD reforms, because it will preserve war-fighting capabilities without breaking faith with veterans and service-members.
