KK: GUTFELD: The U.S. is Voting Present but not Taking Charge in World Affairs; @ALLENWEST: Worst Case Scenario for Missing Airplane
KILMEADE KONDENSED: 03/19/14
HOUR 1
Fox News Channel host of “Red Eye” and co-host of “The Five” GREG GUTFELD and author of “Not Cool” talked about the United States leading from behind in the search of the missing Malaysian airplane. This could be a sad tragedy or a terror related plot and we need to take charge. On the annexation of Crimea, Greg explained that nothing can be done now because we allowed the rest of the world do whatever they wanted while we were busy working on ourselves.
Former Congressman (R-FL) and Lt. Col. ALLEN WEST (Ret.) talked about the missing plane and how the latest intelligence reports say that the aircraft landed in a Taliban section of Pakistan and that it’s time we start think about worst case scenarios. Lt. Col. West also explained that the United States has to step up and take the lead in the investigation. Lt. Col. West talked about the special election in Florida and explained that President Obama has become an albatross around the necks of Democrats.
HOUR 2
FOX’s Chief Congressional Correspondent MIKE EMANUEL discussed why the Senate has not been able to pass a relief plan for the Ukraine or tougher sanctions against Russia because too many people are looking at the mid-term elections or looking at what Europe plans to do.
Author of “Pete Rose: An American Dilemma,” KOSTYA KENNEDY dropped in to talk about how Pete Rose is still dealing with the consequences of his actions years later. Kostya talked about how Pete had a love relationship with fans because he always gave his all and hustled for every minute of every game. In 1989, when Pete was confronted by baseball about gambling and denied it, that’s when his trouble started.
HOUR 3
Wall Street Journal Foreign Affairs journalist BRET STEPHENS talked about how weak the American response has been in the face of aggression. Bret expressed his belief that President Obama coddles our enemies and scolding our friends (Obama talks tough to Israel and the Republican party, but cowers to international pressure).
Paralympics Gold medalist EVAN STRONG talked about competing in Sochi, growing up in Hawaii and how he learned to snowboard after losing his leg.
