HOUR 2
FOX’s Chris Wallace joined Brian and spoke about the Ryan-Murray budget deal saying it benefits Republicans because there will be no government shutdown over the budget.
Political guru Karl Rove joined Brian to talk about Republicans rising in the polls because of Obamacare. Rove explained that on a generic ballot Republicans have an advantage “bigger than they had going into the 2009-2010 Republican tsunami” but warned Republicans have a lot of work to do. He said the GOP must lay out an alternative to Obamacare and bring the focus back to the economy.

HOUR 3
One of the congressmen who worked on the Ryan-Murray budget, Rep Tom Price (R-GA) joined Brian and gave insight into the negotiations of the bi-partisan agreement. Brian asked why President Obama didn’t mention the military cuts in his statement after the budget deal was passed and Price explained, “Because he doesn’t think the military ought to be strong. This is a president who clearly believes a weaker United States results in a safer world.” The topic then switched to Obamacare and Rep. Price’s alternative health care plan which according to a study would save 2.3 Trillion dollars over a ten year period.
Brian was joined in studio by Jeff Benedict, award-winning investigative journalist and the best-selling author of “My Name Used to Be Muhammad: The True Story of a Muslim Who Became a Christian” & “The System: The Glory and Scandal of Big-Time College Football”, where the two got to talk about two of Brian’s favorite topics–sports and politics!
