Vipp’s World of Nonsense: Pick your nose ‘n eat it…it’s good for you!
Ever been in one of those situations where you’re at the traffic lights and the person in the next car is picking their nose, going deep in, pulling out the crust and admiring the size and stickiness of their find?
Well, if they start eating what they find, don’t be disgusted because a Canadian professor at the University of Saskatchewan believes that eating the mucous in your nose brings a cocktail of antiseptic enzymes which will boost your immune system.
So, if you want your daily immunization shot, pick your nose – take a bite – add salt to taste…and you’re all set for whatever the day has in store for you.
If this practice becomes socially acceptable the only benefit I can think of is that the undersides of furniture are going to be a lot less gristly, steering wheels are going to be a lot smoother and people will chew a lot less gum.
This gives a whole new twist to eating organic!
But for now the moral of this story is “pickem, rollem, lickem…just don’t flickem” because a booger is too nutritious a thing to waste.
