Commander of Air Force Special Command GENERAL WILLIAM SHELTON shed his expertise on whether the threat from Iran has dissipated. General Shelton, an astrophysicist, also weighed in on our space program. "Brian, we are in the middle of a transformation in our satellite programs," he exclaimed, "We're very concerned about the threats in space... We're looking at how we become much more resilient with our capability in space and we're going through that study effort right now." Gen. Shelton went onto say that we will stay where we are with our space program through the mid 2020s. "Beyond that, I think you'll see us look at some very different capabilities."
