BRIAN’S QUOTE OF THE DAY
Brian on Delaying Obamacare: “The perfect answer put forward by… Eric Cantor. Delay it for a year. Mr. President, your plan is not ready. It’s not a workable plan. You’ve already had all these exemptions because it’s not working. You have computer systems in states that want to cooperate that can’t because they cannot set up price regulations and find out what everyone’s cost is because the programs aren’t ready and the computers can’t handle it. There’s so many problems, I don’t even know where to start!”
HOUR ONE
The Washington Times Columnist CHARLES HURT weighed in on the Navy Shipyard shooting. He said that when you live in Washington D.C., your second amendment rights are essentially erased. “You can get a gun, but you have to prove that you deserve your second amendment right,” he explained. Hurt went on to exclaim that the Navy Yard shooting proves the fallacy of these laws, because the rigorous laws did not prevent Alexis from bringing a gun onto the base.
AMIR GEORGE, author of Liberating Iraq: The Untold Story of the Assyrian Christians, talked to Brian about where he thinks the weapons of mass destruction are located in the Middle East. George revealed that at a public press conference, the Iraqi Foreign Minister admitted the chemical weapons were “flown into Iran, buried into the desert, and trucked into Syria.” To find out more about George’s mission, go to liberating-iraq.com.

HOUR TWO
ANDREW BACEVICH, author of Breach of Trust: How Americans Failed Their Soldiers and Their Country, talked to Brian about how we have failed our troops. “The failure is a failure to provide serious support,” Bacevich explained. He said that expressions of support such as “thank you for your service” are thin on substance. “More specifically, we have in essence turned the military over to the state the state has misused it by engaging in unnecessary wars, mismanaged wars; and the American people have not asserted themselves to prevent that from happening.”
Brian did a simulcast with STUART VARNEY on Varney & Co! The duo battled it out about NFL picks. Brian picked the Giants to win against the Panthers, Seattle to win against the Jaguars and the Redskins to win against Detroit. Naturally, Varney completely disagreed with everything Brian said.
FOX News Digital Politics Editor CHRIS STIREWALT criticized Brian’s performance today during the wet t-shirt contest segment on FOX & Friends and called him “the least popular participant in a wet t-shirt contest ever.” After Brian endured the scrutiny, the duo talked about defunding Obamacare and the threat to raise the debt ceiling if Obama fails to defund the program.
HOUR THREE
DAN HENNINGER, Deputy Editor of the Wall Street Journal editorial page, talked to Brian about Obamacare. Henninger said that he believes Obamacare should be able to fall under its own weight. “By defunding Obamacare, it allows… liberals to say, ‘the Republicans have killed a law that was passed by Congress.’ So it just seems like a political act. I think that what’s at stake with Obamacare is something much larger than that. This is an enormous entitlement. It is sort of a foundation of liberal thinking about what governments should do,” Henninger explained.
FOX & Friends Weekend co-host CLAYTON MORRIS talked about the newest iPhones that came out today. Brian, who didn’t consult Morris before going out and buying a new phone, revealed that he bought a new iPhone 5 last week, not realizing that even newer models would be coming out today. Morris also explained that one of the biggest differences between the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S is that the 5S is twice as fast as its predecessor.
