Legendary country singer CHARLIE DANIELS talked to Brian about the new AMC hit he wrote for the western series, Hell On Wheels. Daniels explained that he signed on to write the hit after the star of the show, Anson Mount, retweeted him. Later, Daniels gave his take on the U.S. military from the several times he has been overseas to the Middle East. He said that he is more impressed with the men and women serving than ever before: “They’re the best. They are the best. I have often said if everybody – if all the youth of America – had the same sense of responsibility… and sense of duty, that this would be a totally different nation.”
